Mission:

To provide command and control, staff planning, management, accession, and supervision of assigned and attached recruiting and retention personnel and equipment. The recruiting and retention command operates the direct support dimension of the recruitment of personnel within Maryland; develop and manage the financial manpower; information management resources necessary to support the strength maintenance efforts and provide support for Maryland. Conduct planning, performance, analysis, development of guidance and policy, and provide demographic and statistical support to assist in supporting the state recruiting and retention decision making process.
